Community
Wide Bay Anaesthesia Specialists are proud to support a
range of initiatives through sponsorship and community involvement.
We value the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that
strengthen our community and support the future of healthcare.
Locally we partner with schools, charities, clubs, and
organisations to support programs that promote wellbeing, connection, and
opportunity.
This includes contributions to the following:
- St
Luke’s Anglican School Rowing Team
- Angels
Community Group and their Back to School and Christmas Gift Donation
programs
- Bundaberg
Pickleball Community Partnership Program
- Coral
Coast Rotary Club’s LIFT THE LID WALK for Mental Health
- Bundaberg
Surf Life Saving Club
- Bundaberg
Art Prize
We are also committed to supporting healthcare, both
locally and globally.
For many years, our Anaesthetists have volunteered both
their time and medical supplies to deliver care to communities outside of
Australia for Cambodia Vision and Mercy ships.
Closer to home, we are passionate about supporting the
future of healthcare in our regional town of Bundaberg.
This has included
sponsoring the education for nurses at Mater Misericordiae Hospital Bundaberg
and providing an opportunity for CQU medical students to attend the Queensland
Regional Medical Conference for further education. Community means everything to us at Wide Bay Anaesthesia. We believe in giving back to the community and supporting our locals.
We are also proud to have supported:
