Emergency Care, Resuscitation & Intensive Care Support

Wide Bay Anaesthesia provides an after hours service for all the surgeons in Bundaberg regardless of whether we regularly work with them or not. We believe this should be a service to be provided to the entire community and not just a service that we provide to the surgeons we regularly work with.

As specialist anaesthetists we also make ourselves available to assist with management of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit at the Friendly Society Private Hospital. Our skills in managing patients who need to be placed on ventilators (i.e. breathing machines) are often utilised but we make ourselves available to assist whenever sick patients require resuscitation.
